Street Lamp not working
Reported in the Street lighting category by Jane Olds, Wendlebury Parish Clerk at 11:18, Fri 22 September 2017
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
The street lamp at the bus stop has not been working for some time (and has been reported previously). Unfortunately this has resulted in some bus drivers not seeing people waiting to get on and sailing past or having to brake suddenly.
This is now getting urgent with the longer nights.
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log this fault to the correct unit can you please advise, using the attached map, the unit number you are referring to. Thank you

This street light and the a couple either side of the bus stop are still not working this has been going on for well over a year now if not two. The bus does not see people standing at the stop and drives past. I have had to stand with a torch over my head and step out on to the road for them to see me. The bus driver could not see me this morning at 6.45am. Also there is a abandoned car at the bus stop. A lot of children also get this bus to school. It has got to be fixed before someone gets hurt.

We are aware of a fault with these units and they are logged on our management system for repair, due to their location they do require traffic management to enable them to be repaired, these are hopefully due to take place in March. Sorry I cannot provide you with any further details at this moment in time.
