Double yellow lines required

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category by Lewis Cox at 12:34, Wed 30 August 2017

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 months, 26 minutes later

I live in the last house of a cul-de-sac and my driveway is continually being parked over by other residents of the street. In trying to avoid this hazard on Monday, my partner has done over £300 of damage to my vehicle by reversing into our fence post. In order to avoid the hazard, I am required to do a 5 point turn on the PAVEMENT to avoid hitting the parked vehicle. As you can see from the map, we are approx. 200 yards away from 2 primary schools and this is a pedestrian route for children walking to school. My manoeuvre is blinded by the large hedge so I feel this is highly dangerous. I believe double yellow lines should be put in due to the high risks involved. On the occasion photographed, it was impossible for me to exit my driveway.

  • Hello, clearly you couldnt give a monkeys as this has never been responded to or even bloody looked at. But just to inform you I have damaged my car again due to inconsiderate neighbours parking inappropriately. I can't imagine you or them are willing to pick up the bill so I will just continue to be fucked over by people like this. If any human actually reads this - you are a tosser and should consider getting a proper job. Twat
