OCC does not have a contractor in place to address street lighting problems any more. They are using contractors on a fault by fault basis. Now they cannot get replacement lamps to fit these lights. We actually have 4 lights that are out around my house, three are waiting replacement lamps and one which was cut down by contractors because it was dangerous. This happened before I reported the other faults.

They have actually "fixed" two streetlights by changing the light fittings to LED downlights. These are meant to be placed closer together. They have not fixed the streetlamp that has been cut down for safety reasons and they have cut down another streetlamp as well. This means that it is still very dark around Avon Crescent and it is getting darker earlier now!
