Street light cable loose from wall sitting on footpath

Bridge NAJ3/31. A street light cable bracket has broken and the cable is now loose on the public footpath. Vehicles should not be affected by this cable. The cable is hanging from the top of the Buckingham Road northbound bridge abutment and travels into the ground vertically. Reported to Network Rail on 21/8/2017 who established the cable feeds a street light.

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.
