Street lamp cut down and stump left
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 15:19, Thu 29 June 2017
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
A few weeks ago I observed Southern Electric cut down and remove a street lamp that was next to the footpath by the green at Churchward Close. As you will see from the photos, the stump of the lamp post and associated electrical supply has been just left covered with high-vis tape. Not only is this dangerous, but it is unsightly. Why has this street light been removed in this manner? If this is a permanent removal, can it please be arranged to remove the remaining post asap. Many thanks.
