Damaged street light by dustcart!

We have been without a street light Due to a dustcart Hitting it! It has been over a year now! We have been left with the bottom half of it with yellow and black tape around it! our cul de sac dark! I have elderly neighbours who are anxious about the darkness as well! When will it be fixed?

Our current policy is for our contractor to attend electrical & structural emergencies as a priority; as happened in this instance these will be attended within a 24hr period to make safe. This unit is on our system to be replaced when we have the resources to enable us to do so.

  • Apologies for the delay in response. Due to the length of time since it was reported please can you confirm if it is still an issue by changing the state back to Open.

  • Hi,

    No I can confirm that this has not been fixed. Could someone confirm when this will be fixed now we are in the winter months.

  • We are aware of a new column being required at this location, unfortunately this will be carried out when funds and resources are available.
