Street lamp on the corner of Hamilton and King's Cross Road now permanently lit throughout day and night. Street light on King's Cross Road between Hamilton and Victoria Roads is still just a stump, as it has been for weeks. When will it be replaced?

Thank you for your report, can you please advising using the attached map, the unit number you are referring to as day burning. With regards to the unit that had to be cut down to make safe this is currently on a list to be replaced but unfortunately we are unable to provide a timescale at the current time, structural and electrical emergencies are still our priority and other works will be carried out when we are able to do so. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for the confirmation. unfortunately we are only able to attend structural and electrical emergencies as a priority at the current time. All our electricity supply are un-metered therefore whether it is operational or not we will paying the same amount for the consumed. Obviously we do like to get these repaired to save energy, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach.
