Light not working

The top to the lamppost is missing and its also ant working

Thank you for contacting Oxfordshire County Council Street lighting, unfortunately we are currently only available to respond to emergency situations which may have an impact on the health and safety of members of the public, these will be dealt with within a 24 hour period.
Reported faults will continue to be registered on our management system and these will be tackled in coming months.

  • Thank you for your report; unfortunately we are only able to attend structural and electrical emergencies as a priority at the current time. All our electricity supply are un-metered therefore whether it is operational or not we will paying the same amount for the consumed. Obviously we do like to get these repaired to save energy, these are grouped by area and the date they were reported, and the contractor attends against a programmed of works based on this approach

    I live in 16 Shepherds Hill, Oxford. One of the top of street light front of our house does not work about one week. If somebody could it fix, it would be greatful.

  • Thank you for your report, this unit requires a new lantern which we are awaiting to arrive into stock, it will be fitted as soon as we are able to do so.
