Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
Give way sign on Bloxham road/ Springfield avenue junction, On the Easington pub side, has been completely destroyed. The post is bent at 90 degrees with the ground, and is laying on the grass. The Give way triangle sign is now a U shape bent round the post. Could be an electrical hazard as this was an illuminated sign post?
Library pic shows signage , before it was damaged.

The sign and post were removed but no replacement has appeared. Is this in accordance with your normal practice - or was the sign not really reauired in the first place ??

We are aware of this location requiring a new unit, unfortunately at the current time we are only able to attend to emergencies in the first instance which occurred in this case. This will be replaced when we have funds and resources available to do so.

It will soon be 1 April and you should then be able to replace the sign - along with all the others that require attention.

This may be the case but the issue is more with resources as we currently do not have a term time contractor. We will be replacing units when we are able to do so
