Tree requires pruning

This oak tree has grown too large for this location. There are limbs that extend right across the road, causing a potential danger to passing traffic on this bus route. There is a high voltage electric cable running through the tree canopy that would be damaged by the tree's branches in windy conditions.

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited site and inspected the trees described at this location. The tree appears to be in a reasonable condition on inspection with few defects observed, on this occasion no statutory works are appropriate on the tree as described in the enquiry. Should you notice a significant decline in the tree’s overall health, please feel free to get back in touch with us.

    In regards to the power lines you need to contact the your electricity supplier, who will be able to assess if there is any damage to the power lines and will carry out any tree works they feel is necessary to ensure the safety of the power lines.
