Dangerous traffic light/signage sequence: cars often jump lights

Reported anonymously at 16:59, Tue 23 August 2022

I have reported this previously and you stated the traffic light sequence was OK, but this is a dangerous problem that needs attention. Cars waiting at the traffic lights (2 road lanes) on London Place, heading out of town often jump the lights by accident. Straight into the path of oncoming traffic turning right on the green light from Marston Rd to London PLace. I have been cycling across here and cars frequently charge at me jumping the red. There are 2 options for cars at these lights - lefthand lane to go up Marston Rd and righthand lane to go up Headington Hill. The problem is the lefthand (Marston Rd) arrow goes green and the righthand lane sometimes think this applies to them and accelerate forward towards Headington Hill. Also, just now BOTH lanes started forward when the lefthand green arrow - both cars charged at me heading up the hill as I cycled across the junction from Marston Rd to London Place. One swerved past and the other stopped when I put my hand up and shouted. It is so dangerous. This happens very frequently. There MUST be something you can do to the sequence, or to the signage/road markings to make it crystal clear which lane lights refer to which lane. Am local and very happy to come out and explain this further if you need more info or suggestions just get in touch! Am very concerned about safety for cyclists here.
