“.oO0 !!! YELLOW !!! 0Oo.“ vs. ‘Conservation Yellow’ Reported by Paul Kirkley at 09:53, Mon 9 May 2022 As with many road repairs in Oxford, the contractor hare has used the Nationally accepted VERY BRIGHT YELLOW colour for road markings. ONLY Conservation Yellow should be used in the whole of Oxford, let alone in Oxford’s Conservation Areas, in which this junction os situated. PLEASE GET THE YELLOW HERE burned off and replaced with the correct colour. PLEASE ALSO ENFORCE THE USE OF CONSERVATION YELLOW THROUGHOUT OXFORD. I note that Jury’s Inn, just up the road from here, has due the NATIONAL YELLOW on it’s private entrance way. 1. Do they have the right to use double yellow lines in that situation? 2. Could use do Conservation Yellow be required here, so close to the Conservation Area? 3. What enforcement applies on ALL new developments, such as Oxford North and the Mill site?
