Constant breaking of speed limit

Reported anonymously at 10:12, Friday 17 September 2021

The speed limit on the road is 30 mph, which considering the amount of school pedestrians and narrow pavements, is probably too high, but the main issue is that most cars driving up the road constantly exceed the 30 mph speed limit anyway. The issue is most pronounced at the top of the road (from around Park Road to Faringdon road). Given the narrow pavements it can be quite dangerous particularly with pets/children/pushchairs etc. It might be worth considering speed bumps or reducing the speed limit to 20 mph for example.
