Speeding cyclists on public footpath Reported anonymously at 19:05, Tue 29 June 2021 Re footpath from Naldertown to Warmans Close, Wantage. The footpath is used by many people (pensioners, families, disabled buggy users, school children, cyclists). Unfortunately, for quite a while now, a small number of the cyclists treat the path like a race track with little consideration or thought for other users. Some requests to slow down or give way can be met by aggressive or abusive behaviour. The footpath also has a badly maintained hedge on one side which then reduces the space available for users and also the visibility. Not everyone is agile enough to "get out of the way" quickly. It would be useful if some measures could be put in place to slow cyclists down and try to have a little more consideration for others.
