Gravel resurfacing causes yet another crash Reported anonymously at 08:09, Sat 24 April 2021 Oxford’s habit of pouring gravel onto roads to self heal has caused another car crash. Last year when you did chiselhamptom hill a car crashed and on Thursday night a car came off the road and crashed. This stuff is also horrifically dangerous for cyclists as you have to ride through deep drifts of gravel. Is the plan to wait for someone to die and then re-think? This technique doesn’t last so you aren’t saving money in the long term / just do it properly.
