)?: Dangerous parking on and around roads at Kilkenny Country Park

The issues with Kilkenny Park in Carterton involve the following: Parking on Elmhurst way with parking stretching around a blind corner sometimes on both sides of the road. As this is the "main road" through the estates as your Councillor called it with 6000 cars using it daily again quoting your Councillor. It seems ludicrous that this stretch of road does not have double yellow lines. With many young children exiting the vehicles its only a matter of time before there is an accident. Especially as this route is also used by heavy construction vehicles for the recently started development on the edge of the park by Taggert Homes. Additionally any emergency vehicles would also have difficulty getting through the parked cars. People with disabilities are also affected as vehicles are parked on the paths also. The council advertise the park on its website with a download able map showing the location of parking. The parking consists of 11 spaces!!! Would you think that this number of spaces is adequate concidering there are 109,800 (2018) people in West Oxfordshire, this number of parking spaces is ridiculous. Also accessing a park through a congested and residential area is also at best poorly conceived and at worse short sighted. Adequate parking should be provided on the Carterton ring road, which would be safer for all. Or the Carterton football ground carpark could be utilised. Currently these 11 spaces are used together with parking on any available grassed area around the designated parking spaces, including the entrance. Again this is a dangerous situation for children. Originally the carpark was a large gravelled area with space for approx 40 cars and was at the
