Re: your response to ENQ19839716 Reported anonymously at 15:01, Thu 21 May 2020 I was disappointed, but not entirely surprised by your response to my report last week about painting the warning triangle and white line on the corner of Beverley Close and Wootton Road. I cannot see how, when cars are virtually permanently parked there, your operatives will be able to repaint the triangle, or put a line in place. This could go on for an eternity. Are the white line painters aware that it needs to be done? What happens if they are never in the vicinity when there is a space over the triangle? The constant line of parked vehicles also prevent the agreed new white line being painted unless you are proactive in some way. Can we be assured that this work has been added to the schedule this time, to be done in the next financial year? In the meantime pedestrians and cyclists continue to be at risk, also any unsuspecting motorist who might be involved in a collision. Now that the report has been marked "investigation complete" I trust that does not mean that it is closed. I shall be watching with hope and interest.
