Street light not working

Reported anonymously at 13:25, Tuesday 28 April 2020

Street light not working. I am sorry but I cannot understand why one light from the six in Wenman close wouldn’t be the responsibility of the council to maintain. This after all is on a public footpath and as it’s not working is a safety issue. I am trying to locate the correspondence regarding the previous work you undertook on this street light and will forward it if I locate it. However I have found correspondence between you and my wife regarding a bollard on the same footpath which you replaced, very strange that this you carried out this work on the bollard which is on the same public footpath as the light? This development is now almost 12 years old , the developer has long since handed responsibility over and as advised the property company don’t have responsibility they believe as we do it’s the councils responsibility. I look forward to your update and please find the bollard correspondence below From: Highway Enquiries - Environment & Economy <Highway.Enquiries@Oxfordshire.gov.uk> Date: 1 May 2013 at 10:48:32 BST To: Pippa Sharp <pippa.sharp1@gmail.com> Subject: RE: Wenman Close, Witney Dear Ms Sharp Thank you for reporting a broken/missing bollard in Wenman Close, Witney.
