Flooding of road coming into village before bridge, Reported anonymously at 14:46, Sun 1 March 2020 The gullys that take water into the stream during heavy rain are blocked with mud. When the stream becomes too high the water backflows into the gullys and is supposed to enter an overflow gully into the woods. This overflow gully is also blocked with mud. The extraction of sand and gravel at the top of the road by Hills has left the reinstated land with very poor drainage and after rain the water runs under a gate and across the road and runs in a stream towards the village. The water pools before the bridge and because of the aforementioned blocked gullys floods the road.
