Traffic lights on A417 Wantage Road Reported anonymously at 09:15, Fri 14 February 2020 On a fair number of occasions over the last 12 months there have been roadworks on the A417. On each and every occasion the traffic lights to manage traffic have failed in their objective. As a resident I can confirm that peak rush hour times are 7am to 9am (Wantage traffic travels towards Didcot/Harwell) and 4.30pm to 6.30pm (Didcot/Harwell traffic returns to Wantage). Is it possible to program the lights to observe this or have them manually controlled during those periods? It is making life miserable to motorists, particularly at the end of the day when everyone wants to get home!
