Road breaking up badly due to flooding and heavy traffic from Network Rail works Reported anonymously at 10:09, Wed 22 January 2020 The Marsh Gibbon Road is flooding badly and has started to break up right along its length. This is principally due to increase in weight and volume of traffic going to the Network Rail site at the railway bridge. This is only going to increase in the Spring when work starts proper and the volume increases as materials are brought in. The road was considered a failed road in the past and all that has happened is that it was tarmacked a few years ago without addressing the real problem of the flooding.
