Cyclist knocked off bike (despite high vis and lights) at junction as driver could not see Reported anonymously at 14:53, Tue 26 November 2019 I was cycling along Shipton Road (away from Woodstock) at aprox 6:30pm with bright lights and wearing high vis jacket, leggings and shoes. As I was cycling past Randolph Avenue a dark car was pulling out of Randolph Avenue to turn left to (along Shipton Road towards the A4095). He did not see me and went into the side of me despite my efforts to slow down and alert him. The collision was not at speed but I was pushed into the other side of the road with bumps/bruises. Fortunately a car coming the other way after I'd been knocked off as was in the road stopped (it could have been a lot worse with a tight corner).I think that he did not see me because there is a lack of lighting on the corner so no light was bouncing off me as the car headlights were not pointing at me. Please can we get some more/better lighting on that corner and junction.
