Missing traffic lights that put cyclists in danger Reported anonymously at 11:46, Wed 9 October 2019 This is an accident waiting to happen that still needs to be fixed after many months. When you come from the underpass in Milton Park to join the cycle path going towards Didcot, there is a traffic light but it is not in use yet (it has been like that for many months). This makes crossing for pedestrians and cyclists dangerous as the traffic is coming at high speed and it is a busy road. I have witnessed several unsafe crossings during that time. Apparently, the site is waiting for mains but it has been like this for nearly two years now and many other road works have taken place. Sometimes, cyclists have to wait for ages to be able to cross or risk their life. It is hard to judge gaps between cars on both sides, some people stick to the limit others accelerate away towards Didcot on one direction so close the gap with people sticking to the speed limit or slow down (as they should as it is a 40 zone coming for a national speed limit) as the Milton roundabout is approaching on the other direction so the gap behind them closes.
