Because of the new development on the old Railway pub site a crossing has been installed with zigzag lines either. On the side of the road where the pub is these do not extend as far as Simons Close leaving an unmarked length where possibly 2 cars ‘could park’. Cars have parked here before and during the works and regularly since the co-op shop has been. However it has been getting worse and worse with irresponsible parking. When people park here or into the early part of Simons Close it is dangerous as you cannot see to turn out of Simons Close. People are parked illegally asi understand since you should not park within a certain distance of a road junction. In addition these can be parked on the pavement making it impossible for people with pushchairs to pass without going into the road. In addition living at 12 Simons Close it can be almost impossible to exit my drive. A short length o double yellow lines would serve the purpose. Would be pleased to discuss.
