Gas repair works have created large puddles - a hazard to pedestrians.

Reported anonymously at 18:24, Wed 20 February 2019

At the end of St. John's Road in Wallingford, near the junction with St. Mary's Road the various road works over the years have subsided along the length of their trench. This creates large puddles of standing water in road when it rains. The road here is very narrow, with pavement on one side only. This is an extremely narrow pavement. When it rains, pedestrians have to run the gauntlet for about 10 metres, or get soaked from passing cars. It has been like this for years, but nobody seems willing to do anything about it. The road here is in such a poor state that it needs completely resurfacing and the levels corrected so that the surface water flows into the drains instead of puddling.
