Outside Charlton Primary School. OX12 7AG Reported anonymously at 10:59, Tue 22 January 2019 Can there be some traffic calming measures put in place around Charlton Primary school - people drive particularly fast past the school - I understand that they are frustrated as they want to get to work quickly and that around the school it is particularly busy at school drop off time with parent parking and taking their children to school. This morning was particularly bad. As I was walking to school along the pavement I had to move my children out of the way of a few cars and a lorry that mounted the pavement in order to get past the school more quickly. My 4 year old is difficult enough to manage in the mornings and keep safe. It makes it much harder if drivers drive fast or if they mount the pavement to make progress in their journey. Can you please look at doing something to make it safer for children when they travel to and from the school?
