Bridlepath in need of maintenace Reported anonymously at 11:30, Fri 12 October 2018 It has come to my attention that the bridlepath connecting Milcombe with South Newington is in serious need of maintenance. The path at the bottom of the hill, just before opening onto the A361 is incredibly overgrown, both either side and the canopy above. This is a danger to riders and on the few recent occasions that I have braved the path I have nearly been knocked off by low hanging branches. In addition to the vegetation, a barbed wire fence runs incredibly close to the path. This was removed a few years ago but was erected once more shortly after its removal. This is a danger to both horse and rider. Please could the council look into this matter as currently the right of way is considered unusable by horse riders and even walkers.
