Surface in a very poor condition Reported anonymously at 11:25, Sat 13 January 2018 The surface of the Sustrans route from Sandford Lane, Kennington to the Head of the River Pub in Oxford is in very poor condition. Cyclists get covered in mud where the surface has worn away and it's so bumpy, lights bounce off their fittings in the dark. This is a particular problem as the road through Kennington has so many potholes. This means there is no safe way through or past Kennington for cyclists.
