You are reporting the following problem report for being abusive, containing personal information, or similar:
The street light in Wyndham Way closest to Blenheim Drive was recently damaged by fire and we assume this is due to be replaced. Would it be possible to install a downlight that does not cast light onto our house. The light normally floods the front of the house and penetrates the curtains at night. It is much better for us with no street light, but we hope this is an opportunity to install one that lights up the road and not the surrounding area. No. 41 Blenheim Drive is lit by this and the next street light along Wyndham Way, as we are almost opposite the junction. Reported anonymously at 19:09, Fri 22 September 2017 This is a request for a better solution when replacing the street light which was recently damaged by fire (the Fire Brigade attended). We would prefer not to have a replacement at all, but if that is not an option we would ask that the replacement is designed not flood our house with light at night.
